Jets Are Quality Not Quantity

When looking at a hot tub the key features to consider is shell quality, internal infrastructure ( make sure you get to see images of underneath) , good insulation, a reliable and efficient spa system, plus quality of jets plus internal pumps.

 One point that is sometimes considered as a strength but can be a negative is the number of jets.

 Of course a hot tub needs jets but its how they positioned on the spa that matters and not the quantity of jets, so its quality & not quantity which is vital

 For example our best seller model, the Countesa has 23 jets – not allot some may say, but when of them 23,

12 are rotating storm jets 2.5 inch in size

10 are rotating storm jets 5 inch in size, is more than enough. As they both provide a variation in hydrotherapy with contrasting sides and jet heads.

These are the most expensive & functional jets on the market and would develop more hydrotherapy than double of a poorer standard jet.

Also when you litter lots of jets on a hot tub shell, you therefore make the shell thinner and more likely to leak or crack as the more holes on a shell the weaker the shell will become.

Also good hydrotherapy depends on the ratio of jets per pump, for example the same Countesa model has 23 jets from a 3HP pump, and therefore the ratio of jets per HP is 7.67. (23/3).

This is when all the jets are running but on the Zen Spas range of hot tub, each model has the added feature of water diverters so if it’s just a couple or yourself or just a few users of the hot tub, then the water can be diverted to your set area so the hydrotherapy is more intense and a therefore a better ratio than above.
