Treatment

Stabilising Chlorine Granules

1, as above
2, Test the water with testing strips to check free chlorine levels.
3, To increase the free chlorine level by 2.5ppm add 5 grams of granules (1 x teaspoon).
4, On average 2 x teaspoons are required as a daily treatment.
5, Use a plastic spoon.
6, Test water balance and chlorine levels daily and before use.
7, It is recommended to add non chlorine shock on a weekly basis to help with the oxidisation (reduction in contaminants).

pH Plus

1, Add 11 grams per 1,000 litres of spa water. (1 teaspoon = 5 grams).
2, Dissolve in warm water in a plastic bucket and distribute evenly around the pool with the pump operating.

3 Way Testing Strips

1, Dip one strip into water for 5 seconds with a simple back and forth motion
2, Remove strip and shake to remove excess water
3, Wait 15 seconds
4, Match pH, free chlorine / bromine and total alkalinity to the colour chart.
Complete colour matching within 30 seconds.

1 Litre Algaecide

Algae already within system:
1, Shock dose with 20 millilitres per 1,000 litres of spa water (3 ½ teaspoons)
Prevention of algae growth:
1, Add 2.5 ml per 1,000 litres of spa water each week to help prevent future growth. (½ a teaspoon)

Dechlorinator

1, Mix crystals in a 5 litre bucket of warm water & when dissolved add to spa water.
2, 10g (2 teaspoons) will treat 2000 litres of water and reduce the level by 1 mg/ litre.
3, Wait 1 hour and test water balance with testing strips
4, Add again if necessary to reach the right level of chlorine/ bromine
