Treatment

Bromine Tablets & Dispenser

When setting up your hot tub for the first time, allow 24 hours for the bromine tablets to dissolve and mix evenly with the water before testing for correct balance.

Instructions:

1. Place 2–5 bromine tablets into the floating dispenser.

2. Adjust the collar on the dispenser to control the rate at which the tablets dissolve.

3. Test your water balance and bromine levels daily and before each use.

   • Maintain a bromine level of 3–6 ppm.

4. Add Non-Chlorine Shock weekly to assist with oxidation and the breakdown of contaminants.
5. Check the dispenser regularly and top up tablets as needed.

pH Plus

Purpose: Raises the pH level of spa water to the ideal range (7.2–7.6).

Instructions:

1. Add 1 teaspoon per 1,000 litres of spa water.

2. Dissolve the required amount in a bucket of warm water.

3. Distribute evenly around the spa while the pump is running.

4. Leave for 8 hours, then re-test the water.

5. Add more if necessary until the pH is within the recommended range.

pH Minus

Purpose: Lowers the pH level of spa water to the ideal range (7.2–7.6).

Instructions:

1. Dissolve 1 teaspoon of pH Minus in 1 litre of warm water using a bucket / jug.

2. Carefully pour the solution into the spa while the pumps are operating.

3. Test the water using a testing strip, and add more if required until the correct balance is achieved.

Insta 4-Way Testing Strips

Purpose: Quickly test and monitor your hot tub’s chemical balance.

Instructions:

1. Dip one strip into the water for 5 seconds, moving it gently back and forth.

2. Remove and shake off excess water.

3. Wait 15 seconds.

4. Compare the colour pads to the chart on the bottle to measure:

   • pH

   • Free Chlorine/Bromine

   • Total Alkalinity

   • Water Hardness

5. Complete the colour matching within 30 seconds for accurate results.

Antifoam

Purpose: Quickly removes and prevents foam buildup in your spa water.

Instructions:

1. Add 50 ml of Antifoam directly to the foaming area as required.

2. Allow the water to circulate to distribute evenly.

3. Reapply as needed to maintain clear, foam-free water.
