We have assisted with many such products and to ensure the project is successful not only in ensuring privacy & protection to the users but also designed to issue free we have some helpful tips.

We have used the phrase shelter which could also easily be substituted for gazebos or pagoda.

Privacy

Privacy

When deciding on the final location for the hot tub shelter privacy is a vital consideration to create the perfect design is privacy.

The height of the hot tub

Measure the height

Before deciding on the height of the shelter, measure the hot tub height and include the height of the spa cover we folded upright. This is a crucial measurement and will ensure the height of the shelter has sufficient space to manage the hot tub with the spa cover elevation.

For example, as countesa hot tub is 200x 200 x 100cm high, the cover is 200cm long and folds in half.

There fore the total height of the hot tub with elevated spa cover is 100cm (hot tub height) + 100cm (when the spa cover is upright) = total 200cm

Obstructions

Aware of possible obstructions

Most shelters will have vertical / horizontal posts to help in the construction, please ensure these posts are not too close to the hot tub cabinets which could restrict the cabinet from being opened for service and maintenance issues.

Surface area

Surface area

The surface for the shelter should also be large to allow an attractive & seamless design.

Do not order a 2m x 2m shelter for a 2m x 2m hot tub !

4m x 4m would be perfect to allow an extra 100cm on each side for clear access around the hot tub.

Accessories

Spa Lifters & accessories

If you plan to an acquire a spa lifter, allow for space to allow for the lifter to be installed and used with freedom.

Timings

Timing with other installers

If the hot tub delivery has to be planned alongside the construction of the shelter, timing is essential to allow the hot tub to be delivered prior to the completion of the build to allow easier access for delivery and placement.

Entrance

Access to excisting building

If the build is already in place and the hot tub needs to be delivered inside, careful consideration needs to be given to see how the hot tub can be delivered inside.

The hot tubs come ready assembled unlike outbuildings so doors or panels maybe have to be dismantled to enable the safe passage of the hot tub.
