Made from a premium grade PU, the HTS spa covers are resistant to the harshness of the winter plus warmth of summer with particular resistance to heat, water & UV.
Inside The PU material lies the high-density EPS foam, Expanded PolyStyrene insulation is lightweight, rigid with closed cell insulation which is strong, stable, energy efficient & thermal resistant.
The EPS also has inertness to chemicals.
To give the foam added strength an aluminium alloy frame in also inserted to inside the cover to keep shape & strength.
Each cover has secure clips with locks for wind resistance & safety plus handles which aid in the movement of the cover.
The hot tub round spa cover tapers to allow water to drain away with the size of 9 to 12cm which compares favourably alongside most spa covers.

The radius is the measurement on the corner of the spa cover from where the curve starts.
All square or rectangular hot tub have curved corners.
We have attached a diagram to explain what the radius is for reference.
A hot tub thermal cover is an insulated spa cover designed to retain heat, reduce energy loss, and keep your hot tub water warm for longer. Thermal covers are an essential part of energy-efficient hot tub maintenance and outdoor spa use.
Hot tub thermal covers work by trapping heat inside the spa and reducing heat loss through evaporation. The insulated foam core and sealed design help maintain water temperature and reduce the workload on your hot tub heater.
Yes, an insulated hot tub cover can significantly reduce energy usage by preventing heat loss. A well-fitted thermal spa cover helps the hot tub maintain temperature for longer, reducing how often the heater needs to run.
A good thermal spa cover includes a high-density foam core, a waterproof vapour barrier, UV-resistant vinyl, and a tight custom fit. These features help maximise insulation and improve long-term durability.
The radius is the curved corner measurement of your hot tub cover. It describes how “rounded” each corner is, not the full size of the cover.
Manufacturers use it to ensure the cover fits snugly around rounded spa corners instead of sharp 90° angles.
You have a few common methods:
Method A: Template method (most accurate)
Method B: Square method (simple DIY)
Method C: Manufacturer method
You should clean your hot tub cover:
Regular cleaning prevents mould, UV damage, and premature wear.
We recommend using Spa Cover Shine
Our spa covers feature a high-density insulated foam core with a tapered design to improve heat retention and water runoff.
Typically, the thickness measures:
This gradual slope helps rainwater drain off easily, prevents pooling, and reduces strain on the cover hinges over time.
