Hot Tub Suppliers have always enjoyed a special relationship with the Balboa Water Group and with Jean Pierre Parent or JP as he is widely known.

JP has very kindly taken time from his hectic schedule to write about the challenges the company has faced with the rising demand and production issues caused by the pandemic.

Exclusive to HTS & our buyers, JP has written this piece below.

2020 has been the most challenging year in the history of the Balboa Water Group

The increased worldwide demand coupled with the production issues we are facing with our factories has resulted in delays in production which we are working tirelessly to resolve.

The high demand is a result of the pandemic and the impossibility to travel, with hot tubs becoming a hot commodity worldwide.

Our industry is facing an incredible demand that has strained the entire supply chain, resulting in delayed deliveries. Our factories and our suppliers (including Balboa) are dealing with the situation the best they can and understand the frustration of the consumers who are looking for the fun and the relaxation our spas can provide.

As individuals and as a company we have never worked so hard and will continue to do so our buyers and the end customers receive deliveries as fast as possible with no compromise on quality which is the hallmark of the Balboa product.

I would again like to personally thank you for your ongoing support and patience during an uncertain time.

And finally, I would like again thank our colleagues for their tireless efforts in our factories and distribution. We’re in this together – and together we will get through this extraordinary time.
