The Eco Spa air source heat pump is part of a new revolution of ideas to reduce power consumption in a low cost and eco-friendly way
The process is to absorb heat from the outside air and through an internal heat exchanger called a refrigerant.
The heat from the air is absorbed into a fluid, this fluid is then passed through the refrigerant heat exchanger into a heat pump which raises the temperature and transfers the heat to the water.
To use air as the prime source of the heat is a natural way to create energy so air source heat pumps leave a low carbon footprint, they also use less energy so therefore reducing your household bills.
Sources report that in a residential setting, consumers can save more than 2 tonnes of carbon per year, contributing up to 20% less CO2e than gas boilers and up to 70% less than electric systems.
