Last year we wrote a news article about a very brave and special young man Christian Rogers and the benefits he was receiving from hydrotherapy courtesy of the Emperor hot tub ordered by parents Paul & Yvette.
Since the article Christian has undertaken a SDR operation (selective dorsal rhizotomy ) after endless fund raising from family and friends .
The operation is not available on the NHS so Paul & Yvette had to raise the £50,000 independently and due to fantastic support from the local community in Byfleet this has been achieved.
Christian unwent an operation towards the end of 2015 and is currently working hard on his rehabilitation.
Last week we attended the British Pool & Hot Tub Awards 2016 held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry where Hot Tub Suppliers was both proud & honoured to collect the gold award at this prestigious event on behalf of Christian, Paul & Yvette.
The award was for the category “hot tubs change lives” this category celebrates the life changing benefits that hot tubs and spas provide consumers. The award provides the opportunity to really focus on the health benefits of hot tub and spa ownership and how they can make an enormous impact on people’s lives.
The hot tub was our Emperor design and the health benefits was related to Christian and the help the hot tub has given to his rehabilitation.
“We used the hot tub to prepare Christian for the operation and it will play an even more important role in his recovery.” Paul Rogers.
This accolade supersedes any of the awards given that evening as its a real life story of the benefts of what hot tubs can acheive.
To receive recognition on an area of hot tub benefits which is frequently shadowed by social attributes is incredibly gratifying and we will continue to endorse the health benefits as part of the advantages of owning a hot tub.
