We were very proud to support the charity spin class held at Parklands Leisure Centre on 30 January in Leicester 💗
Now in its third year, the event was the brainchild of Sarah Merriman, whose passion and commitment once again brought the Parklands community together to raise awareness and vital funds for breast cancer.
The challenge was immense — a 12-hour marathon spin session, running from 6am to 6pm, led by Sarah alongside fellow members of the leisure centre. With some participants taking part in fancy dress, the atmosphere was both fun and physically demanding, creating a real sense of teamwork and determination throughout the day.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of Sarah and everyone involved, the event raised an outstanding £3,200+, a record total across the three years the charity spin has taken place 👏
To support the team’s recovery after such an intense endurance challenge, we were delighted to donate Revitalice ice baths for participants to use post-event. Cold water therapy is proven to help reduce inflammation, ease muscle soreness and accelerate recovery — the perfect way to finish a 12-hour ride.
An inspiring achievement for a brilliant cause — and we are proud to have played a small part in supporting both the fundraising and the recovery.
