Since the new year shipping has become a very slow and expensive process, there are those that think it is because of the pandemic and also those who blame Brexit , the truth is probably in between with the result being most industries are waiting longer than usual for parts and the cost for this slow service has more than tripled.
The shipping problem does not look like going away in the short term with recent issues in the Suez Canal plus recent port closures in Asia due to Covid 19 break outs adding to the misery.
We as BISHTA members have an obligation to keep customers aware of the present issues and this is also why our home page carries the minimum 12 weeks’ delivery banner.
