The phrase “new normal” is a well-used phrase this year as our lives and the way we work have been dramatically changed.
The lead times we see now in a lot of industries from building & garden projects to electrical items are all allot longer and of course we have also felt the change here with long lead times for the hot tubs.
The long lead times are mixture of demand plus restrictions with production with the impact of the coronavirus reducing manufacturing output by over 50%.
The “new normal “seems to be with us for the foreseeable future so our advice for planning for future hot tub projects is to plan early.
To plan early, the job of choosing the right hot tub is easier and also the order can be placed whilst also arranging other parts of the project.
You can choose from many options rather than in peak season when choice is limited and also to buy in off peak would enable to get better prices as some dealers (unlike ourselves) did increase prices as the demand went so high.
So if you are planning a stay vacation in the UK in 2021, we strongly advise to start early so you & the family can be sitting in a hot tub in your landscaped garden at the right time.
