This was another fantastic week at Hot Tub Suppliers.
On Tuesday we attended the industry dinner at the British Pool & Hot Tub Awards for 2017 held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
The evening was a full of entertainment, speeches and special guests which made digestion of the delicious 3 course meal a mere formality.
The evening is a celebration of the hot tub and swimming pool industry and guest of honour was Elle Simmonds OBE five time gold medal winner at Beijing, London & Rio Paralympics.
The evening was made even more special with won 4 awards which was both surprised and overjoyed to receive:
- GOLD – Hot Tub Changes Lives
- GOLD – Hot Tub Happiness
- BRONZE – Best Hot Tub In a Holiday Location
- BRONZE – Best Use Of Digital Media
The first 3 categories we nominated 3 of our customers for each award
Hot Tub Changes lives - is how the use of a hot tub has changed people’s lives.
The winning choice in the section was Dayton Smith who with the unwavering support of parents Jamie & Elaine has used the hydrotherapy of the Emperor hot tub to help ease movement and muscle conditioning to help with his cerebral palsy.
The judges found this inspirational story worthy of the Gold award.
Hot Tub Happiness – Is a story on how a hot tub has bought happiness to people’s lives.
Which was awarded to our buyer George Shillito who worked with ourselves in 2016 when he ordered the Countesa model from ourselves.
From the meticulous planning for the delivery and access with photographs of each stage and part of the garden to the length chats on the phone and finally down the photographs and 500 words review. George was a pleasure to work with and we had no hesitation to nominate George for the award. If you are curious on George his image can be seen on our reviews banner.
Best Hot Tub In a Holiday Location – This Bronze was for our buyer Paul & Holly Jandrell at Slate House Lodges in Wales. This is a very competitive category and we was again thrilled to receive 3rd place with so many business vying for this award.
Slate House Lodges is situated in Powys an area boasting panoramic views over the tranquil mid–Wales countryside.
The lodge nestles on the edge of a working farm close to Caersws village, this idyllic combination of secluded rural peace and luxurious living creates a truly special Welsh escape.
Best Use Of Digital Media - We received the Bronze award for our work with digital media especially our video portfolio which gives our buyers the best after sales interactive support in the industry. With over 200 videos and 125,000 views to our channel this was a great lift for all the hard work of our digital designers and media team.
In 2016 we won 2 awards which was staggering so to bring back 4 this time is just incredible.
